Q01How proficient with AI do I need to be?
Just asking questions in a chat isn’t enough. At M2IE, we’re looking for people who have built AI into the way they work every day. For example:
- Using AI to produce research, plans and proposals faster and at higher quality
- Building your own tools and automations with AI to make work easier
- Redesigning your entire daily workflow around AI
- Having actually shipped a product or service with AI
- Sharing what you learn through blogs, social media or meetups
You don’t need to tick every box. In the application form, please share concrete examples — things you’ve built, tools you use, links to what you’ve shared.
Q02Can foreign nationals apply?
Yes, we welcome you. We support work visa applications for foreign nationals and also offer Japanese language learning support. If you live overseas, relocation to Tokyo is required upon joining.
Q03Can I apply if I don’t speak Japanese?
Japanese is our common working language, so business-level Japanese is required for every role. On top of that, bilingual and trilingual candidates who speak English, Chinese, Korean or other languages are very welcome — there are plenty of chances to use those skills, such as working with overseas clients.
Q04Can interns become full-time employees?
Yes. After working with us for 3 months or more, you may apply for full-time conversion if you wish. Conversion involves an evaluation and interview.
